Jargon Busting

Mouth-To-Lung (MTL) – This is the type of vape that replicates the draw of a cigarette and is best suited to people that are trying to quit smoking.

Sub-Ohm or Direct-To-Lung (DTL) – This is the type of vape that gives little to no nicotine but is a more airy draw that allows you to produce big cloud of vape. This is more hobbyist style vaping.

Resistance/Ohmage – Without getting too technical and deep into electrical principals, this is what determines how tight of a draw you will get and how much vapour will be produced. Further explanation of this is in our FAQ.

Wattage – This is the measurement of power that is being put through the coil to produce vapour. The higher the wattage, the more vapour produced.

Coil – This is the heating element inside the tank or pod. When power is sent to it, it heats up and vaporises the e-liquid for you to inhale. This is changed on a regular basis to ensure an optimal vaping experience.

Pod/Tank – This is the part of the device that the coil sits in and holds the e-liquid.

Shortfill – This is the term used for the bigger bottles of e-liquid where they leave the bottle slightly under-filled to leave space for nicotine shots to be added to the preferred strength.
